On August 1st, 2008, Equinox was asked:
I have a question along the lines of the books I was reading, Seth and Conversations with God, and all that saying the same thing. It’s a real tough concept to get when you’re walking around in a body. But several years ago I got up in the wee hours of the morning and I think it was because I was not fully awake when this happened, I got to the bathroom, I was sitting on the toilet and my eyes were closed the whole time. Then when I opened them, because I couldn't find the toilet paper roll, when I opened my eyes it was real interesting because everything was visually normal except it was so clear that it was one continuous energy field and I just thought "how on Earth could I have missed this before?" because it was so obvious but in the morning it was gone and I have never seen it since but it was no question in my mind it was real.
EQ: We have talked of this before. It is getting outside of the illusion. That's exactly what it is. It is getting outside the illusion, and many entities have had this experience, but once they have the experience it is almost as though it shocks them so that they have to get back in the illusion. It is such a strong desire for humanity to feel alike that those that step outside the illusion are often considered weird. But many of them have made huge impact in thy world because, let us use just a simple one. Inventions. Isn't this stepping outside the illusion? When it was believed that thy blood was sacred, entities doing anything with the blood would have been killed. This made thy physical body more important than thy spirit body. Consequently it left thee even farther into separateness. Think on that.
Guest: I wanted to clarify about inventions, my personal belief is that in probably more cases than less an invention is not a result of hard work but it is something a person is born with...
EQ: Stepping outside the illusion.
Guest: … and it just spills out, so credit should be given elsewhere.
EQ: No, it is stepping outside the illusion. If the illusion says "absolutely cannot something" and the inventor has the knowing that not only can but should, that is stepping outside the illusion. Maybe only partially, but it is stepping outside the illusion.
Guest This is almost along the same lines, I have noticed here lately when I am driving, even though I have driven that road thousands of times, it’s like all of the sudden I don't recognize anything and it is like "Where am I?".
EQ: It is a wondrous gift that boredom exists because boredom and sameness force thee out of the illusion at times. Have thee not been forced out of the illusion of time? Have thee not been forced out of the illusion of, how many times have thee driven somewhere and ended up there and not known how thee got there? These are times thee have left the illusion. These are times that thee are not physical but somehow the car still gets thee where thee want to go.
Guest: I just did not recognize anything along that road. It was like "what was happening, was I loosing my mind?"
EQ: Thee were seeing it from a different vantage point.
Guest: Thank you. At least I am not losing my mind.
EQ: No.
